Kansas Pre-Licensing 30-Hour Principles of Real Estate

This course provides 30 hours of instruction in principles of real estate, required of all applicants for a salesperson’s license in Kansas. The course prepares learners for the Kansas licensing exam and provides the real estate practice knowledge and foundation necessary to be a successful real estate salesperson in Kansas. Topics include real property ownership, land use controls and restrictions, deeds and title transfer, real estate contracts, real estate agency, estimating value, real estate practice, property disclosures, real estate financing, real estate math, real estate license laws and rules, prohibited acts in real estate, and BRRETTA.

Kansas Pre-Licensing 30-Hour Real Estate Practice

This course provides 30 hours of instruction in real estate practices, required of all applicants for a salesperson’s license in Kansas. The course prepares learners for the Kansas licensing exam and provides the real estate practice knowledge and foundation necessary to be a successful real estate salesperson in Kansas. Topics include working with sellers and buyers, acting as a transaction broker, terminating brokerage relationships, cooperating agents, compensation, property valuation and pricing, closing costs, completing transactions, misrepresentation, environmental issues, and current legal issues in Kansas.
